Dogs are welcome on a lead in many areas of Castle Howard. Our four-legged friends can accompany their humans in the outside seating areas at the cafes and well-behaved dogs are permitted inside the Courtyard Café.
The butchers in the farm shop quickly become a favourite as they will happily find a good bone to be enjoyed. The garden centre has a great selection of dog toys, treats and gifts.
In May 2023, Castle Howard once again hosted its much-loved Festival of Dogs. There was family entertainment and a host of suppliers to tempt you with something special for your dog. The perfect event to visit whilst on a family holiday with your dog!
